Ive always loved this app from day one: made from a guy who obviously knows about the physics, math and coding. But hes regularly adding new features as if he would read my mind. You will love and benefit from this app!! Promise!! And btw: its amazing what a measurement tool an iPhone can be.

So far the app seems to hold its weight. However, it seems like the iPhone 5s is detected as an iPhone 6. Hoping this isnt toying with mic calibrations etc. Will check back in for an update and re-review.

Best SPL meter app Ive used and I have 10 different ones. I use this one on a daily basis. Its more accurate and gives more information than its competitors. This is the one to get. I dont have a proper SPL meter to compare it with but it seems to work very well. Im an audio engineer and I like to use it in my studio to make sure Im monitoring at safe levels. Also its good to use when Im out in public or in a loud bar to see what kind of levels Im subjecting my ears to. Most of the time I have to wear earplugs! Overall its a great and handy app and blows the others out of the water. Buy it already!

I use it to measure ambient levels before recording and also to check levels in loud environments to determine whether to wear earplugs. Its a wonderful tool.

Lives up to its reviews in the App Store and on other websites. I cant vouch for its accuracy down to tenths of a dB, but its close enough to tell me when I need to be worried about noise exposure.

THIS app works. After wasting my money on two other apps that were totally useless I decided to spring for the big bucks and try this one. Has more features than I need but it is accurate and does exactly what the developer says it does. Very happy. Well worth the money.

This app is the one to get. The freebie versions are not comparable. This app works like a scientific instrument instead of a consumer grade app with radio shack quality. Highly recommended!

Wanted to calibrate my home theater, had the option to spend $30+ and wait a few days to order a spl meter or buy this app. Bought the app, worked amazing. I later compared it to a friends spl meter and it matched up nearly perfectly. Lots of features, everything you could want in an spl meter app.

I bought an i436 mic to go with this, the app has settings to use the mic, and the result is a very good noise system, spl, fft, and bar chart. The app provides an internal set procedure for the mic, and with an external calibrator, I could calibrate the mic & app which then measured other known sounds very accurately. The developer answered some questions, quickly, and the result is an altogether excellent product with support.

Your app is very reliable, great effort! It would be nice to have SIL scales, e.g. SIL4. Further, what about a waterfall diagram with the spectrum which can also be replayed?

Im not an audio techie but the app seems to work very well. What has really impressed me has been the developers support. I messaged them with a few questions and they responded in minutes. Theyve answered all of my questions and even provided links to help me learn more about the use of this kind of equipment. Im very happy with what Ive received for my few dollars.
